ZitatAlles anzeigenGreetings Explorers,
The deliveries for this campaign are almost over with almost all games having been sent out. Therefore, it’s time to look to the future!
Online Store
We will be putting extra production copies of The 7th Continent up for sale on our online shop as from mid-July, the time to take an inventory of our stocks present at the different logistic center warehouses, as well as finishing the processing of any final after-sales requests.
These are copies that we ordered from the manufacturer as early as November 2017, before we tallied up the final volumes from the pledge manager.
These "Collector" base boxes, expansions and game accessories will be available for sale whilst stocks last, which will vary for each geographical area. These same geographical areas may also influence when products become available.
We’d ask you to be patient if copies are not immediately available in your region. We will obviously send an email to all newsletter subscribers (https://www.seriouspoulp.com/en/subscribe), each time it does.
New “Choose your own Path” project
We spent more than two years designing the “Choose your own Path” system at the very heart of The 7th Continent, that allows players to explore a predetermined map that can evolve and change during the game thanks to the use of numbered cards.
The 7th Continent adventure is coming to an end… but our desire to keep exploring and pushing all the possibilities offered by this system is not. Therefore, in parallel to following-up the end of production, we’ve started working on a new game based on the same system.
It’s with great pleasure that we’re please to present The 7th Citadel.
The 7th Citadel will take place in a new unique "Dark Fantasy" world whose gameplay will be significantly enhanced compared to that of The 7th Continent.
The game will be coming to Kickstarter in 2020 to allow us to continue its development and prepare a campaign that we hope will be just as exciting as those of The 7th Continent!
We’ll be back this autumn to tell you more about the game’s world and mechanics!
The 7th Continent “Classic edition”
For months now, we’ve been receiving daily an influx of messages asking if The 7th Continent will be available again in the future, as well as alerting us about the rampant speculation on the subject on the second-hand market.
Given the cost of producing the game, it still isn’t feasible to offer a version that can be distributed via traditional means. However, we have thought long and hard about if it really wasn’t possible to propose it to these players that only discovered Kickstarter, or board gaming in general, too late to take part in the campaigns. Of course, this would have to be a more “limited” version of the game and one that would be sold directly in order to maintain an “acceptable” price point.
By excluding all the “Kickstarter Exclusive” content (plastic figures, exclusive cards, magnifying glass, etc.) and only keeping the “essential” components of the game, we’ve managed to assemble a “Classic Edition” that will be release in the 4th Quarter, in English and French.
Parallel to this release, three expansions will also be available: “The Icy Maze”, “The Forbidden Sanctuary” and a mini expansion that will contain the introductory “The Crystal Song” curse as well as the new games modes from the “What Goes Up, Must Come Down.” Collector box.
It goes without saying that the Kickstarter exclusive expansion “Swamp of Madness” will not be reprinted.
See you soon for the final update of this campaign!

Is eigentlich egal.
Essen Spiel 2019 - Walking Through Hall 5! (7th Citadel and Western Empires and more!)
