Well, it has certainly been a busy few weeks. November bacame our biggest month so far for sales - thanks to all of you!! We have also now managed to get almost all of the Essen games out that we promised, missing only Ming Dynasty and Utopia. We expect both of these in January or February.
That means, we have released:Cuba, Race for the Galaxy, Power Grid deck 2, Amyitis, Chateau Roquefort, Key Harvest, Zooloretto Expansion, Felix: the Cat in the Sack, Carcassonne:Abbey Mayor, Mü & Lots More, Bohnanza Fan Edition, Darjeeling, Year of the Dragon, Oregon, Gulo Gulo, and Hamburgum. We also get restocks of Puerto Rico, Bohnanza, Taj Mahal, Galloping Pigs, Mamma Mia!, Power Grid, Thurn & Taxis, Alhambra, Buccaneer, and Carcassonne: King & Scout. We expect Tikal and St Petersburg in early January - they are done and have shipped from Germany. Caylus and Ys (along with the Ys Expansion are now in the works and should release in the first quarter of 2008.
We have recently agreed to produce English versions of some of the best games from Selecta. These games are family games aimed at a younger audience. They are know for high quality, very special wooden components and fun game play. These will begin releaseing in February and include Piratissimo, Fruitirelli, Giro Giloppo, Viva Topo, and Mago Magino. We are also expecting the new Queen games at about the same time:Airships and Eketorp.
Now that the line-up of Essen games are done, we have begun work in earnest on the games planned for next year. These include: Race for the Galaxy: the Gathering Storm (the first expansion for Race for the Galaxy), The Great American Railroad Game (an updated version of Stephensonâ€™s Rocket, but based in the Eastern US), Samurai card game (a smaller, card version of Samurai), Ra dice game (Ra, but with dice), Lemons & Lemonade, Veritas, Burger Joint, Bonnie & Clyde, Mogul, St Pete expansion, and New World Carcassonne.
Of course, we continue to work with other publishers on English versions of their games. These include Thurn &Taxis: all Roads lead to Rome, Metropolis, Stone Age, and Perry Rhodan, among others not yet announced.
We have re-acquired the rights to Ra, and will publish it again in early 2008. We are still working on a reprint of Medieval Merchant, but with a twist or two. Andreas Seyfarth has promised his long-awaited Puerto Rico expansion for October, 2008.
Finally, 2008 is our 10th anniversary and we are planning something special!!
