Gefiel mir so besser.

ZitatC9. Short Game (2-3 Player Variant) courtesy Sophia Lechner
This variant scales down the playtime according to the player count, by reducing the number of cards in the Market and in the initial draw deck. As a side effect, it makes tycoon wins closer to the same difficulty as in a 4p game. Even though this is only a variant for 2-3 players, I'm describing the rules for 2-4 players; for 4 players, it's just a rewording of the setup rules for easier comparison. Functional changes from the official rules are in bold.
Setup:
C2. Form the Market with 4/5/6 spaces in each sphere for a 2/3/4 player game
For a 2-player game, use the four price chits 0/1/3/5.
For a 3-player game, use the five price chits 0/1/2/4/5.
For a 4-player game, use all six price chits 0/1/2/3/4/5.
Populate the Market now with random Idea cards (the draw deck will be counted out separately). Fill the First World and Developing World spheres, and put one card in the 5 spot in Cloud and Space.
C3. Form the draw deck as follows, from the bottom up:
Plurality card
Four Tipping Points shuffled into twelve random Idea cards
Three random Idea cards per player (6/9/12 for a 2/3/4-player game)
Don't use this draw deck to populate the Market (that was already done), but do use the top card to start the Human Progress Splay as in the base rules.
I hope you enjoy! Games with this variant are considerably shorter, while tycoon victories are still possible but more dependent on the Idea cards that come out. Each player will commercialize about as many Ideas as in a standard 4-player game (which means that the Splay will be smaller, and the endgame will tend to have fewer viable pairs and patents will not be quite as valuable).
